As fall finally goes dim, winter emerges as the prevailing wind through the marketplace. While optimism serves as a white rose through this phase, moderate unemployment rates have given pause to overabundant optimism. All the same, the desire for homeownership remains high among those willing to absorb some risk while attracting enthusiasm. Reprinted from November 2014 CRRA Monthly Indicators.

So much in our world today is visual, especially in real estate.
92% of buyers search for homes online, and while searching for that perfect home, they’re looking for that one image to capture their eye, and make them want to peek inside.
Excellent photography grabs a viewer’s interest and drives them to see more.
At Ivester Jackson – Christie’s International Real Estate we understand the importance of high quality photographs and aerial video, which allows for unique views of the properties we sell.
We work with some of the best photographers in the business to grab viewers attention and showcase our clients’ homes.
What’s the first picture you see on MLS and other real estate sites? Usually an exterior shot.
That’s why we highlight the strongest features of each home with photographs of beautiful landscaping, a unique outdoor living area, or spectacular waterfront view.
Once inside a home, we know from statistics on our TourFactory insights, that people love to see remodeled kitchens and baths, a foyer or entrance hall, great room, master bedroom, or any other special features – such as a home theater, bonus room, or guest suite.
And people love taking a tour of a nice home… while sitting in the comfort of their own.
That’s why our TourFactory Videos are so popular, which we link to our listings.

Recently we began using drones to help us showcase several amazing high-end waterfront properties, with island and sunset views that must be seen from above.
Look closely: can you see the drone taking off to capture aerial video of this home on Fisherman’s Rest?
We take the time to make sure we get the best lighting, and usually end up shooting video in the evening for a sunset shot or twilight shot, which creates flattering scenes.
Here are two examples of featured homes.
