Reed serves on the influential Owners' Business Initiatives Committee with Christie's CEO Dan Conn. This involvement includes an important position on the Owners' Technology Committee, which helps keep Ivester Jackson/IJB on the cutting edge of technologies and best practices for real estate. He remains active with the evaluation of the buying and selling of properties in the region. With a diverse background in corporate marketing, mergers and acquisition transition, private equity placement, and real estate investment analysis, Reed is one of the region's most experienced negotiators and strategists.
A native of Michigan, Reed, along with his wife and partner, Lori Ivester Jackson, has grown Ivester Jackson and its sister firm in western North Carolina, Ivester Jackson Blackstream, into a leading boutique real estate brokerage. He is frequently retained to coordinate the marketing for many of the region's most exclusive properties and is a frequent featured analyst for area publications such as The Charlotte Observer, Business Journal, The Asheville Citizen Times, Wall Street Journal, Mansion Global, and many other leading luxury media outlets.
