About

Kate Stables enjoys life in Cornelius with her family, where they have lived since 2002. Over the years, Kate has witnessed Lake Norman's rapid growth and development. She lived in The Peninsula for 13 years but currently resides on Torrence Chapel Road. As a long-time Cornelius resident, she is particularly tuned into the local market and has years of experience working with clients across various price points around the region.

Before transitioning into real estate, Kate worked primarily in Urban and Regional Planning, which she also holds a Master's Degree in from the University of Tennessee. She has worked as a city planner, a zoning specialist for cell towers, and a North Region Park Planner for Mecklenburg County. Through her experience in urban planning, Kate has gained substantial knowledge of the region and understands how development and land use affect the local real estate market.

She remains actively engaged in Lake Norman's community and city planning so that she can be an informative local resource for her clients. Kate also brings a wealth of knowledge about the community's most desirable neighborhoods, up and coming developments, and the best schools.

Kate is a mother to two daughters, who enjoy softball and horseback riding. When not working, Kate can usually be found running, doing yoga, walking her dog, or spending time with her girls.
