Today we meet Ivester Jackson Christie’s agent Annie Livingston. A multi-million dollar agent Annie has an extensive background in business; as a former Risk Manager for Babson College in MA and a native of NYC – Annie handles all of her business negotiations with professionalism and integrity.
Tell us your favorite things about being a real estate broker?
My favorite thing is being able to share with out-of-state buyers all the nuances of living in such a beautiful place. I also enjoy introducing new and past clients that move here from the same home towns – it provides them a little connection to the place they are leaving.
Do you have specific areas of focus?
I mainly focus in the Point – I’ve been here for 17 years and have raised my three boys here since they were little so I bring a lot of community information to the table.
What advice would have for people right now during this down period?
For sellers and buyers – like everything else this too shall pass however in the interim continue either getting your homes ready to put on the market and for buyers put together that hard list of things that you must have in a home and be ready for the market to open up again – but most importantly for all is to stay safe and abide by the rules of your state and county.
How are you keeping busy with today’s Stay at Home Restrictions?
I am working on my CE. I am also making phone calls instead of emailing or texting clients to either stay in touch or follow up – I find that people right now really like to chat on the phone it’s a great time to build rapport with clients.
Are you giving back or helping your community/neighborhood at this time?
As a long-standing board member of Hope at the Lake Foundation – we are working with our local nonprofits in unique ways that we can help them and assist them in writing grants to other foundations for financial support.
