Ivester Jackson agents work all across the state, from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the coast with offices in Asheville, Charlotte, Lake Norman, and Wilmington. Agents from all 4 boutique offices frequently work together to offer clients a combination of expertise from each region.
Laura said, “This client is my top client and personal friend. He has bought and sold multiple times with me. Working with Carol, I quickly realized he was in much better hands than if I attempted to manage the sale on my own from Lake Norman. Sean and I could not be more thankful Carol agreed to team up. She is a rock star in my book!”
Laura’s client was listing a European-style home with unparalleled craftsmanship on 16 acres of land an hour and a half away from Lake Norman. The listing was right in the middle of horse country, and close to Tryon International Equestrian Center.
Choosing Carol as a co-list agent helped tremendously when it came to local knowledge and expertise. The buyers were moving from California and concerned about the proximity to local grocery stores. Carol says “The grocery stores are 25 minutes away from the house. Because I live here, I know about the wonderful little farm store that is 5 minutes from this house, open 5 days a week stocked with local meats, dairy produce, and fresh seafood delivered on Fridays.”
The buyer’s wife is also a horse lover needing both a trainer and a barn to board her own personal horse. Her agent was from Asheville, an hour away, and not familiar with the equestrian lifestyle. Carol, a former trainer and horse farm owner, knows all the best trainers and barns in the area.
“I selected several suitable barns and took the buyer to visit them and meet with the trainers. I also took her and her husband to dinner at Tryon International Equestrian Center to watch a horse show and they joined me at the annual steeplechase another day. I was able to immerse her in the equestrian community here during her visit which sealed for her that this is where she wanted to live.”
Carol adds “I believe providing this service to them, this local knowledge and guidance was critical to the sale.”
Ivester Jackson Agent Suzanne Lindros, who also works in the Lake Norman area, recently teamed up with Carol Parker to list a mountain home with breathtaking views located in the same region as Laura’s listing.
Carol has enjoyed working with and helping both agents. “I think both Laura and Suzanne deserve credit for recognizing that they could better serve their client by teaming up with a local agent on these listings.” In the end, the client can depend on the existing trusted relationship they have with their primary agent while benefitting from the local expertise of another of our Christie’s level experts in the community.
