Ivester Jackson Christie’s Agent Lisa McCrossan, has truly made an impact in our community through her active involvement in charitable endeavors. Recently, she volunteered for three remarkable events that aimed to make a difference.
At a recent community event with BED (Beds Equal Dreams), Lisa and a group of volunteers gathered to lend a helping hand and make a meaningful impact. Under the guidance of the organizers, they collectively contributed to the cause by constructing 24 beds, generously donating bedding, and even surprising the children with toys. The result? Fifteen deserving families were gifted with comfortable sleeping arrangements, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for a good night’s sleep.
Among the recipients was a brave 7-year-old girl named Emily, currently undergoing cancer treatment. Just days before the event, Emily underwent surgery to remove a tumor, a few nights later marked a milestone for her as she experienced the comfort of sleeping in her very own bed for the first time.
Lisa says, “I love what I do in real estate because it connects me to great people and great causes. I work hard, not only for my clients but for causes that mean something to me. There is nothing more fulfilling and rewarding than paying it forward!”
Another event was a car show held at the prestigious Longview Country Club that Lisa had been dreaming of holding for years and finally got the green light to move forward with her idea. The event raised funds for Turning Point, a cause that holds a special place in Lisa’s heart. Turning Point is the only organization in Union County that provides emergency and lifesaving resources for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. The organization offers a wide range of services at no charge to clients and believes that everyone who experiences abuse deserves a safe place to heal and receive the resources they need to seek independence and justice.
But that’s not all, Lisa also sponsored a foursome in the Turning Point Golf Classic. It was a fun and exciting day as Lisa’s team emerged victorious in the tournament. Not only did she support an exceptional cause, but she also celebrated the success of her team!
